It appears that deaf and hard of hearing students experience bullying at rates
Students with disabilities are 1.5 times more likely than students without disabilities to get bullied 2-3 times higher than those reported by hearing students.
Research
Add different interests in the product. Hearing impaired children get a task (a skill to increase confidence) each week using the product, and when the hearing impaired child completes the task, he or she gets the corresponding character as a reward.
