Who Am I ļ¼
Iām Fan, the product design student in Artcenter College of Design.
My father, an interior designer, inspired me to pursue industrial design when he talked about his design philosophy and material choices. I'm more interested in the objects, such as how the combination of the texture, color and shape in furniture can complement a space's overall style. I often discuss design and user experience with my father, and I even put forward suggestions on redesigning some products that are not reasonably designed. Product design is attractive to me because it perfectly combines the pursuit of beauty with solving practical problems
In the process of creating my portfolio, I learned that industrial design is a combination of sensibility and rationality, science and art, natural objects and human intelligence. As an industrial designer in the future, I want to solve common problems to benefit human beings, but also want to explore the future of industrial design.
